Based in Surrey, near Guildford and Leatherhead, the Nursery at Cranmore marks the start of your child’s educational journey here.

Our nursery children enjoy weekly sessions led by specialist teachers, including:
- PE – expert age-appropriate physical development, fundamental movement and stability skills, increasing in spatial awareness
- Swimming – building water confidence and physical coordination
- Forest School – encouraging curiosity, resilience, and a love of the outdoors
- Music – developing listening skills, rhythm, and creativity
- French – introducing a new language in a fun and engaging way
- Encouraging curiosity, creativity, and early literacy and numeracy
- Smooth transition to school life
- We believe children learn best when they feel happy, confident, and secure. Through a balance of specialist teaching, guided play, and nurturing care, we support each child’s individual development and foster a lifelong love of learning.
Progress is carefully tracked against the EYFS Statutory and Non-Statutory Framework to ensure every child develops confidently.
Girls and boys join from the age of 2 years to discover a vibrant, happy atmosphere with Specialist Teacher Sessions. It is expected that all children will progress to our Lower Prep.
Children in our Nursery love to learn and take advantage of our outstanding facilities with acres of grounds and Forest School to explore, a junior ICT suite, gym, and adventure playground.
There are music lessons from our specialist teachers and, when ready, swimming lessons in our indoor pool.
Life in our Nursery is a learning journey with exploration and carefully planned activities. Your child’s happiness and security is very important to us and we want all our children to have the best possible start to their education.
