Stay and Play Morning – Wednesday 29th April 2026

For children 18 months to 4 years with their parents
8.30am to 10.30am
This exclusive session offers an opportunity to experience the distinctive ethos of Cranmore and to see how we nurture curiosity, confidence and a love of learning from the very earliest years.

Little Explorers Morning – Thursday 18th June 2026

For children 18 months to 4 years with their parents
Please arrive at 9.30am
Step into the wonders of nature for a morning of outdoor learning, woodland exploration and hands-on adventure in our beautiful Forest School natural setting.
Event ends at 11.00am

N.B. If you wish to join us for any of the above, please create a → parent account with Applicaa and register for the event. You will also be able to request a prospectus at this stage.

If you are unable to attend the events, please contact Mrs Charles on a.charles@effinghamschools.org to arrange an individual meeting with the Headmaster, or Head of Prep, and have a tour of the school.

Many parents visit us first on an Open Morning; they are held twice a year with the main one in September. The other Open Morning is held in late April/early May.

Taster Events

When decisions have been confirmed in November, all successful candidates will be invited to our Offer Holders’ Day in early February.

Our new Cranmore Year 7s can look forward to their first Induction Day in late June/early July when they come in to meet their Head of Year and Form Tutors and, will sample a few Year 7 lessons.

The second Induction Day is on the day before school starts in the Autumn Term. This is just a short afternoon visit when boys can meet their Form Tutors again and visit their form room so that they know exactly where to go when school begins the next day.
